KESO Short cylinder

Half length, full performance.

The new KESO short cylinder contains the full-size technology of a modern KESO cylinder despite its reduced dimensions.

It combines the approved comfort of the reversible key technology with the challenging requirements of today’s progressive glass architecture. 

On its basics the KESO short cylinder is constructed on the time-tested technology of the KESO 2000S system. Due to the complex requirements to a cylinder with the minimal dimensions of only 28 mm the result was a completely different product which is fully independent from all existing systems. The short cylinder’s main fields of application are high-class buildings with modern glass elements which ask for especially aesthetical fittings. Due to the KESO short cylinder the distracting factor of protruding cylinders can finally be eliminated.

The KESO short cylinder is designed for common locks with Euro-profile aperture and can be adapted perfectly to the fittings in use. It can be extended on both sides individually with screens in the length 2, 4, 6 or 14 mm. The minimum basic length of 28 mm consists thus of the basis cylinder (24 mm) and reciprocal screen in the length 2 mm. The screens are according to standard in the surfaces satin nickel plated for stainless steel fittings or chrome plated matt for aluminium surfaces available.

The assortment is completed by the chrome plated glossy and the gold deco finish which glamorises noble glass doors.

Besides of glass doors the KESO short cylinder is also used in sliding doors, folding partition walls or folding doors and combines sleek elegance with perfect security.
